Musical Theatre Extension
The 2-week Musical Theatre Extension program begins after the 5-week Theatre Arts program has concluded and focuses on Musical Theatre training. The 5-Week program has minimal, if any, musical theatre curriculum, and so the 2-Week extension is an intensive deep dive into Musical Theatre that applies skills and principles learned in the first 5 weeks.
Students must participate in the 5-week Theatre Arts training before beginning their specialized training in Musical Theatre. Students may NOT just attend the 2-week extension.
Students will receive classes in Voice, Dance, Acting for the Song, and more from experienced NHSI and Northwestern faculty. At the conclusion of the 2-week program, students will perform a song cycle based on the work explored in their classes.

| 6:30-10:30pm | Rehearsal, one night rehearsal will be replaced with a field trip |
| 11pm | Dorm Closing |
Weekend schedule may vary. Guest lectures, performances, master classes, and other activities can occur throughout the program.
