All Theatre Arts, including Design/Tech, students will receive wide-ranging and intensive instruction in theatre and movement techniques, aesthetics, and literature. Core classes are ensemble based and physically rigorous. The Core classes provide the foundation for the Theatre Arts curriculum and include:
• Voice & Movement
• Performance Theory
•Text/Character Analysis
• Production Crew

Both core and elective classes give students tremendous opportunity for individual instruction with a teacher-student ratio of approximately 1:8.
To complement the course of study, we arrange special Master Classes with a wide range of theatre professionals, as well as field trips to Chicago to attend professional productions. Nearly every minute of the day, seven days a week, is filled with challenging and stimulating curricular activities.
In Core I learned how to be vulnerable. I became much better at connecting to scene partners and large groups and also learned to express myself freely.”
